Uniwest Mortgage needed a dual purpose site to target information to two core audiences, home buyers and mortgage brokers. They also needed the ability to keep their rate sheets constantly updated and to maintain a list of registered brokers. We wanted to make sure users were getting the correct information and that only registered brokers had access to the more sensitive rate data. The site was constructed with a main landing page which allows users to choose which side of the site they want to enter. If the user is a broker they must register with the site to go beyond the broker homepage but once they've done this, they are allowed access the next time they return. For the site's administrators, there is an administrative interface to manage registered brokers, download these lists to Excel and upload current rate sheets daily.
